Pi Gamma Mu
Pi Gamma Mu membership is welcoming to disciplines of history, political science, sociology, anthropology, economics, psychology, international relations, criminal justice, social work, social philosophy, history of education, and cultural/human geography. Membership is also extended to interdisciplinary social science areas that are built on the core social science disciplines, such as business and society, education, minority studies, public administration, international studies, public finance, leadership studies, consumer behavior, public policy and organizational behavior.

Economics hosts the Gamma chapter of the Omicron Delta Epsilon International Honor Society in Economics.

The honor society of the Department of Political Science is Pi Sigma Alpha. The society was founded in 1920 and a chapter was established at the University in 1954. Undergraduate and graduate students may apply.

Pi Alpha Alpha is the national honor society for the field of Public Administration. New members are invited semi-annually.

The honor society for the Department of Sociology is Alpha Kappa Delta. The aim of the University chapter, Alpha, is to stimulate scholarship and maintain a fellowship for students, both at the graduate and undergraduate levels.
